7 June 1943 Japan-printed Definitives employed on FDC's are cancelled with special philatelic cancellers or, in the case of the 1c, 4c, and 1-Peso set, with 'Manila no. '1', '2', or '3' steel hand-gripped cancellers. When it is cancelled with a universal machine cancel like this cover, assume that it was coursed through the mail or the mailer must be well connected to have it handed back by the UMC canceller. |
